THE 3 rd Mekong-Korea
International Water Forum

Climate Resiliennce
through Digital Water Management
in the Mekong Region

The MKWF is an annual international water forum that brings together Mekong countries and development partners to discuss water issues and identify solutions. Key stakeholders, including the minister, water experts, and practitioners, collaborate to raise awareness, share insights, and expand partnerships.

The forum aims to enhance the capacity of Mekong countries to implement sustainable development goals (SDGs) in the Lower Mekong River Basin by integrating networks and innovative technologies for effective water solutions.

In 2022 and 2023, consultations with stakeholders helped shape the forum's theme around 'Climate Resilience' and 'Digitalization,' with four four key sub-themes: 'Data,' 'Finance, 'Infrastructure,' and 'Governance'

To address water issues from a long-term perspective and maintain the momentum of collaboration, the 3rd MKWF will feature more in-depth discussions on these consistent themes.
